Sad to say but some people are so angry and unstable that they expect their attorneys to take steps that are clearly improper. I refused to file a Petition with information and allegations I knew to be legally insufficient to warrant a violation of an Order of Protection. Client claimed that because I worked for her, I should simply do everything that she wanted. She became unhinged when I told her that I would not be involved with the filing of a legally insufficient Petition. Incidentally, does anyone really believe that this client would have retained me if she really had a friend who had to sue me? The client has elected to remain anonymous - perhaps she should identify herself and identify the friend who allegedly sued me.
