Why You Should Have Michele Ellerin, J&G Law Represent You in Your Divorce
(1) She’ll work hard to get you the good deal you’re entitled to. As much as you might be “out to get” your spouse sometimes, divorce is not about “winning” or hurting or getting the better of your spouse. It’s about fairness… in providing or receiving spousal support dividing assets, in access to your children and in ensuring that you have proper influence on their development
(2) She’ll listen to you and develop a complete understanding of you, your situation, and your interests. Although you’ll “leave the lawyering to Michele” because she understands the law, the courts, and the likely outcomes based on past divorce judgments, she won’t forget that you are in charge. Her job is to represent your interests to get you a good outcome.
(3) She’ll advise you on when we should push and when we should compromise. It’s not all about “slugging it out.” There are times when we’ll have to be firm and assert our positions, and time when, for your sake and others’, the right thing to do is to compromise. The process of getting divorce may be full of emotional ups and downs for you, but you can count on Michele to keep a clear head and do what’s for you right at each turn.
(4) She’ll put your children first. That’s what the courts do, and that’s what you really want, too. It’s so easy to get caught up in bickering and hard-headed negotiations about all the other stuff that you think more about yourself than the welfare of your kids (sadly, it happens all the time.) Michele will work hard make sure your children are protected, both in the short term while your divorce is going on, and in the long term, so they get the right physical and emotional support and parental nurturing. Children can, and often do get hurt badly during a divorce. Michele will work hard to keep them safe and protected.

There are no words for how Michelle ruined my life~
I can't even fathom how this woman has stayed in business. I was a scared woman turning to her to help me through a divorce. Not only was her receptionist RUDE , she NEVER showed up to court on TIME leaving me to scramble and wonder if I would be represented that day. This also didn't allow she a...
We just came across these comments (in the past, we didn't regularly search for online reviews). The details of this matter don’t sound entirely familiar (it was 3 years ago), but we’re sorry you had service concerns. We work hard to treat clients with the attention and respect they deserve, and to keep them informed about all issues related to our work for them. To honor your privacy, we won’t address specific issues on this site, but feel free to call our office to speak with Michele about your case and its outcome.

Highly Recommend, Especially for a Difficult Case
My ex-husband was very arbitrary and pretty much acted like a crazy person throughout our divorce. Michele was a sane, calming influence and didn’t let his nonsense wear her down. She kept it professional and did everything necessary to keep things moving, no matter how difficult he tried to make it....
"I have great respect for Michele Ellerin as a colleague and a trial attorney. She is strong advocate for her clients and an effective negotiator."
