I had this attorney for several years in family court, and she was completely useless. Despite overwhelming evidence in my favor—and the fact that I did all the work to put it in her hands (because if I hadn’t, forget it)—years in court were wasted. Meanwhile, the opposing counsel built arguments ou...t of thin air, sometimes even twisting my own points against me. Instead of doing her work, she continuously pressured me to give in—practically working against my case. Rather than advocating for her own client, she seemed more focused on pleasing others—siding with the opposing counsel and the judge (who was after almost 5 years of unlawfully waiting to see if I got scared, intimidated or tired enough to give in, declared and invalid "on consent" settlement). In the end, this attorney quite literally forced me into the courtroom against my will to enter an "on-consent settlement," despite my persistent and clear refusal. She never fully discussed the terms with me, yet she still pushed through. Ultimately, she handed my case over to the other party, completely disregarding my position. If you need a lawyer who will actually stand up for you rather than just stand there like a scarecrow (rather helping the birds eat your harvest), look elsewhere. This one won’t just waste your time—her neglect and incompetence will ruin your case and I speak from experience.

I happen to know a little about the law and this lawyer did exactly what I would have wanted on my behalf prior to my even asking or telling her filing a motion. I feel safe she will fight for my rights in any way available to me and not just what is easy. I should add this is on an appointed case ...and she has treated me no differently, or with any less concern or responsiveness than if I were a paying client. I have hired lawyers for business purposes many times00000000 that were not as attentive! Just great and deserves all the credit in the world.
