Helping you take care of yourself, your family, and your business with individual attention, reasonable rates, and personal integrity.
What matters to me is family. In my law practice, my goal is to help you take care of yourself and your family. I do this by providing services in these areas:
I serve clients in Connecticut and New York. Prior to opening joining BNR, I was attorney owner of Spannhake Law LLC. Before Spannhake Law, I was an associate in the commercial litigation department of a large New York City firm, where I worked on a variety of matters in both federal and state courts and in arbitration. I also clerked for the Honorable Joel F. Dubina of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and was an adjunct professor of law at Brooklyn Law School and Pace Law School, teaching criminal law, legal writing, and moot court.
I live in Sherman, Connecticut with my husband, daughter, and two dogs.

Would recommend to anyone
Jamie was very affordable and professional. We hired her as new parents to do our family planning. The process was very easy and quick. She guided us through the entire process answering all of our questions. I would recommend her to anyone looking to create their will.

Outstanding
I hired Jamie to assist with some issues we were having with a trust management company. She was diligent in her research, extremely responsive and always professional while handling the matter. She genuinely works in the best interest of her clients. I have and will continue to recommend Jamie.

Thumbs up!
Jamie Spannhake assisted me in putting together some basic documentation - wills, etc... Unlike some previous experiences I had with other lawyers, she was professional, concise, answered all questions clearly, and provided what I needed, and no more. I would definitely recommend her to others.

This is a no-brainer
We switched from a big law firm to Ms. Spannhake. It's the best decision we've made and we haven't looked back. She is very meticulous, thorough, knowledgeable, and responsive to our requests. Her rates are reasonable and she doesn't nickel and dime. Overall, she gives more value for the dollar t...
"Jamie is an excellent real estate attorney. Her drafting and negotiation skills are superb, and she is also adept at title issues. She is the full package when it comes to real estate transactions and closings- you want her on your team."
"I endorse this lawyer. Jamie and I have worked together on a variety of matters. She is extremely knowledgeable, always professional and consistently exceeds the expectations of her clients. I sincerely enjoy working with Jamie and look forward to working with her in the future."
"I went to law school with Jamie. One lesson I learned from her is the importance of doing unexpectedly more than asked. For example, one day, a classmate asked Jamie how to do something on a computer. It was something little, such as saving a document or something. Jamie showed what was asked. But then the next day, she came in with printouts of the users guide explaining the technical details of what the classmate has asked. That is the kind of person Jamie is. I have no doubt that Jamie would perform any work asked of her unexpectedly well!"
