Grateful but not effective

Rhett was extremely professional and I understood years later how corrupt the Judge was and how Rhett was "actually" keeping ME OUT OF JAIL, and saving ME from harm from the MONSTER my ex had become and the Judge!!! I am eternally grateful!!!

Run!

Worst attorney. At first he tries to be engaging, then expect him to take atleast a month to answer an email, which is extremely unprofessional. You get what you pay for. Too easy going, will put you to the side and not even file the right paperwork with the courts!! I had no choice but to fire him ...which was the best thing I could have done.

Horrible Experience

He failed at helping me with my divorce. I lost all my personal belongings and didn't care. Didn't care that my ex lied in court. Never challenged anything. Was way too laid back. He let my ex's attorney walk all over him and me. I lost my pension and annuity. The amount of child support he accepte...d on my half was ridiculous at $25. a month for 3 children. He said I couldn't do better and take it. He never addressed college for my kids or the fact I pay for health insurance and the cost increases every year. I was screwed over!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
