DO NOT HIRE THEM. I hired them for what should have been a simple matter in family court and it turned out to be the worst experience I have EVER had with a lawyer. All they care about is running through your retainer ! Dropped the ball on several matters. Calls and emails went unanswered ! BEWARE...! You are better off representing yourself!

I was looking for a lawyer to fight a speeding ticket. He had good reviews so despite the high price (over $400), I thought it would be worth it. Wrong! He got nothing knocked off my ticket, no reduced points or fine. I never spoke with him directly and his associate gave me misleading info re: D...MV fine (she said I would separately be fined $300 by the DMV). Apparently Milan county does not reduce the points or fine so there was no point. Also, if I take a class to reduce my points, I will only be charged $100 for the first year (it is $100 per year up to 3 years) So please dont waste your money and be lied to.

My wife is a busy doctor and it is hard for her to find the time to attend weeknight court in Upstate New York, where she received all of her tickets (we live half time in Westchester, half near Oneonta). At first we didn’t know how to proceed, since we hadn’t received a notice, but had forgotten ab...out the first ticket. After a friend said his brother lost his license by ignoring tickets, I didn’t know what to do. I found Jonathan Katz’ online reviews and decided to give him a try. The regional lawyer who works for him got the points greatly reduced, and did the same for two other tickets, which would have suspended my wife’s license. The office personal are very pleasant and knowledgeable...I would highly recommend them in dealing with any traffic violations in small Upstate NY towns.

After being pulled over for a hefty speeding ticket I was worried about how fight it. Talking to a few different offices I felt most comfortable with Jonathan Katz’s. Not only were they very informative and helpful but most importantly honest throughout the whole process. When it avatully came time f...or the court date I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. For a ticket I was looking at a lot of points. We were shooting to get them dropped down and he acatually got them dropped completely. Of course I had to pay the court fine and fees but the points were my main concern. Would definitely recommend.
