Jonathan and his staff were angels. They provided the right information and professionally represented me in court. Most importantly, they provided the relief that I needed at a moment when things looked confused, complicated, and a bit messy (legally). We were ticketed on the Taconic on our way north, and the town court was much too far away to contest the ticket in person. After research, we chose Jonathan Katz to represent us in town court. Jonathan's office explained the process clearly, and communicated promptly. The ticket was reduced f...rom a 4 point unjust result to a 0 point non-moving violation (improper parking), and we paid the fine by website the same day. Excellent result.

My son was ticketed for 58 mph in a 45 mph in the small town of Olive on the way to a ski resort. The offense carried 4 points. I read the reviews of several lawyers in the area and decided that Jonathan Katz would probably do the best job. Thank goodness I did. Not only did he represent my son so he... did not have to travel the 2.5 hours from NJ for the hearing, but his fee was reasonable, was local to Olive, and like many other cases that I saw in reviews, was able to eliminate points. Instead of a 4 point speeding ticket, my son was fined for a 0 point "unsafe door opening." Wonderful job. The assistant, Liz, was in constant contact. Very helpful. Very friendly. I cannot say enough good things. If you need a lawyer for this type of situation, hire this firm.

I was looking for a lawyer to fight a speeding ticket. He had good reviews so despite the high price (over $400), I thought it would be worth it. Wrong! He got nothing knocked off my ticket, no reduced points or fine. I never spoke with him directly and his associate gave me misleading info re: D...MV fine (she said I would separately be fined $300 by the DMV). Apparently Milan county does not reduce the points or fine so there was no point. Also, if I take a class to reduce my points, I will only be charged $100 for the first year (it is $100 per year up to 3 years) So please dont waste your money and be lied to.

My wife is a busy doctor and it is hard for her to find the time to attend weeknight court in Upstate New York, where she received all of her tickets (we live half time in Westchester, half near Oneonta). At first we didn’t know how to proceed, since we hadn’t received a notice, but had forgotten ab...out the first ticket. The regional lawyer who works for him got the points greatly reduced, and did the same for two other tickets, which would have suspended my wife’s license. The office personal are very pleasant and knowledgeable...I would highly recommend them in dealing with any traffic violations in small Upstate NY towns.
