David Ryan Zagon

I attended SUNY Albany and received a Bachelor’s Degree in 1991.  I then attended Buffalo Law School and earned a Juris Doctor in 1995.  I was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1995 and started my career with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office handling misdemeanor cases in Spring Valley, Haverstraw, and other local Justice Courts.  I was then promoted and asked to work with the Rockland County Narcotics Task Force where I worked with undercover investigators and confidential informants on search warrants and wiretaps, developing felony drug cases and handling them from Grand Jury through trial.  I also assisted with the development of the Rockland County Computer Crimes Task Force.

In 2001, I took a position with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office as Senior Assistant District Attorney.

In 2006, I began my career in private practice and in 2007 I joined the firm of Feldman, Kleidman & Coffey LLP (today known as Feldman, Kleidman, Coffey, Sappe & Regenbaum LLP) as a litigation attorney focusing on plaintiff’s personal injury and criminal defense work. 

I live with my wife and three children in Orange County.  I have been active as a coach and manager of my kid’s sports teams, I’m a former Vice President and Board Member of the Cornwall Sea Dragons Swim Club and active Treasurer and Board Member of the Hudson Valley SPCA.
