Austin Fitzgerald Dubois

Austin F. DuBois focuses his practice on helping people save and protect money from nursing home costs, both reactively and proactively, using the latest and best strategies, including trusts, asset transfers, wills and other techniques. Austin is a member of the New York Bar Association, and has been admitted to the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania Bars, and before the U.S. District Court of New Jersey. He is a member of WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel, and the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council.

Beginning in 2014 and every year since, Austin was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars List. In 2012, Austin received a Rising Star award from the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. He was named “Top Attorney” for estate litigation in 2009 and 2010 by SJ Magazine, and in 2010 he received the “Awesome Attorney” award for estate litigation from South Jersey Magazine.

Austin He is committed to public service, primarily in the area of Economic Development, ensuring that governmental tools and policies are implemented to provide opportunity to Newburgh’s people. He is also a proud board member of the Newburgh Industrial Development Agency, Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Inspire and the Good Work Institute.

Austin enjoys the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley, by hiking, camping, canoeing, and snowboarding.

A seventh-generation resident of Orange County, N.Y., Austin is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia, the Rutgers University School of Law, and the Temple University Law School (Masters of Law in Taxation).
