Joseph P. Petito brings extensive trial experience in criminal, DWI/DWAI, family, and personal injury law. Known for high-caliber courtroom representation, he has guided hundreds through County, Supreme, and Family court proceedings, with appellate successes, including a notable case highlighted in the New York Law Journal. With a background as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Dutchess County, Joseph handled major felony cases and has a deep understanding of firearms legislation. As a former Town of Hyde Park judge, he presided over numerous cases with consistent affirmations on appeal. Academically distinguished as a Cum Laude graduate from Thomas Cooley Law School, Joseph initially joined his father at the Law Office of Bruce A. Petito, co-founding Petito & Petito, LLP.
