OUTCOME: The Defendant's motion for summary judgment was granted as to the Plaintiff's retaliation claims. The remaining claims were tried before a jury. After a five-day trial, the jury returned a verdict in complete favor of the Defendant.

Defense of employment discrimination and retaliation claims. The Plaintiff claimed discrimination on the basis of race/national origin and age, along with retaliation claims. The client (the Defendan ... t which had employed the Plaintiff) vigorously denied the Plaintiff's claims and asserted the Plaintiff's employment was terminated for entirely legitimate, non-discriminatory and non-retaliatory reasons.
