I had a negative experience working with Timothy Lavin during his time associated with Gerth Property Management. In my experience, there were serious issues with financial transparency and accounting. Funds that were expected to be held or applied for specific purposes were not properly accounted fo...r, and repeated requests for clear documentation, reconciliations, and explanations were either delayed or not adequately addressed. As a property owner, accurate recordkeeping and timely financial reporting are critical. Based on my personal experience, I did not receive the level of professionalism, clarity, or accountability that I would reasonably expect when entrusting someone with financial responsibilities. This review reflects my own experience and opinion. Others may have had different outcomes, but I would strongly advise anyone considering a similar arrangement to conduct thorough due diligence, require detailed written accounting procedures, and closely monitor all financial activity.
