I hired him for a civil dispute with my former landlord. He accepted $2,000.00 to represent me. After he took the money he never returned my calls and his secretary ignored me. He didn’t show up to court and I got a default judgement against me. I ended up having to pay thousands of dollars extra to ...get it resolved. I’ve spoken to other people who have had similar problems with this guy. He is a bad man who preys on desperate people. Avoid him at all costs.

He took my $1000.00 and did nothing. When you think lawyers are honest people and that you should be able to trust them, you tend to listen to everything the tell you. Over 10 years of being handed 1 excuse after anther why things weren't progressing on my case and phone calls not being answered, I... have lost $1000.00 and have a case that is unresolved.

I hired Glen Brownell for a simple divorce for which i had actually done the bulk of the work myself. All he needed to do was the official filing and serve my wife. I paid him the same day i consulted with him. The problem is that it took him six months to get the filing done and the judge to sign th...e final decree. When it was sent back to Brownell he "lost" it in his office and never bothered to tell me. So in March 2016 my divorce was supposed to be finalized....now it's the end of August and he doesn't return my phone calls, i call every week. His disorganized Secretary keeps making excuses and telling me they haven't got around to it yet. The judges Secretary can't help me and doesn't understand either. I can't even get this man to return a call. Don't hire Brownell to do anything

I know Mr. Brownell approximately twelve years ago, He has always been a very Trustworthy and Responsible Lawyer, He is very Knowledgable of what he did and did not hesitate to keep me informed of the happins. He makes every effort to be flexable to meet my difficult schedule. He is very polite an...d make sure i understand everything before leaving his office. He even takes time to answer any question i may have at other times. I am very happy and proud to have Mr. Glen Brownell serving the Capital District and most of all that he is located in the county of Schenectady.
