Scott P. Olson

I have been practicing law in Upstate New York since being admitted to the NYS Bar in 1994.  During this time I have successfully represented clients throughout New York in connection with large commercial development projects.  Some of the projects I have been involved with include securing the necessary land use and zoning permits and approvals for regional shopping centers.  My work has also involved representing developers in high profile condemnation proceedings in Syracuse New York.  

Much of my practice is currently dedicated to assisting clients in the wireless communications industry.  As part of my work in this field, I have been the lead attorney responsible for hundreds of successful land use and zoning permit applications.  I have also successfully litigated and defended lawsuits challenging the both the issuance and denial of land use permits.  My most recent case for which I was responsible was the Application of Richardson, et al v. Town of Shawangunk and Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless, et al.  At the conclusion of the case, the presiding Judge ruled in my client's favor and dismissed the entire Petition brought against my client and the Town of Shawangunk by neighboring property owners.
