Peter earned a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and then obtained a JD Degree (law degree) from Western New England University, (then known as Western New England College School of Law). Peter has been an attorney admitted to practice since January 1989. In addition to admission to the New York State Bar, Peter is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is also admitted to practice in all U.S. District Courts located in New York and Massachusetts. Peter has appeared In a variety of courts ranging from municipal/Town Courts up to the New York State of Appeals, New York's highest court.

The best of the best!
I was in a car accident and after contacting Mr. Scagnelli, I was told to receive medical care. Peter J. Scagnelli was able to get my vehicle repaired, my medical bills paid, my loss wages compensated and was able to settle my personal injury claim for more than I ever expected. Peter J. Scagnelli is the "Go to Guy"

Peter came highly recommended. He represented me in family court over the last 3 years after numerous petitions filed against me. I feel unlike the large law firms where you are paying for overhead costs, copies, ever small question etc that he was fair, understanding and flexible to match my needs. Peter will give you straight forward answers and be realistic about your situation. There is a sort of peace in at least understanding the procedures as one goes through these difficult times.
