Daniel James Persing

Over the past 30 years, Daniel has become well-known in the Capital Region as an ardent advocate for the rights of people who have suffered injuries or lost loved ones because the intentional or negligent acts of medical professions, drivers, property owners, businesses, and other parties. As a Partner at Tully Rinckey PLLC, Daniel concentrates his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice and general litigation.

Daniel has spent his entire legal career – which spans more than three decades – practicing law in the Capital Region. For most of that time he worked as a solo practitioner or name partner at law firms in Albany, where he built thriving medical malpractice and person injury practices. He has litigated a broad range of medical malpractice claims, including those pertaining to foreign objects left in the body during surgery, failures to diagnose and improperly performed medical procedures. His personal injury litigation experience runs the gamut of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, construction site accidents, slip, trip, fall accidents, building safety, product liability, and wrongful death. Daniel also focuses on civil litigation law and family and matrimonial law.
