I got arrested for a DWI last February. I refused all tests as this would have been my 2nd DWI. I was referred to Jon from a friend, and I am so glad that I chose him to represent me. I was arrested for DWI in June 2018. I was also charged with a misdemeanor for criminal possession of marijuana. The next morning after my arrest I felt anxiety like I never had felt before. John picked apart every single detail of my arrest as I watched in awe. Never having witnessed a hearing before this cross examination was really incredible and reminded me of things I had seen on T.V. John was able to point out numerous inconsistencies from things on the arrest report and in the body cam video to the officers answers on the stand. He brought up each and every mistake the officer made in following the proper steps in making a DWI arrest. He asked the officer many question that forced him to disagree with things he had just said when being questioned by the DA and that conflicted with things on the arrest report. John painted a picture of how I was unfairly graded on certain aspects of the field sobriety tests. He really showed me that he does his homework and examines every detail to create problems with the states case. John put on a show and by the time the cross examination was over the DA was immediately ready to offer me a plea of DWAI with no interlock requirement and a dismissal of the CPM charge. The DA as well as the judge and everyone else in the courtroom had something to say to John about what an amazing job he did. Everything changed so fast from me feeling defeated to getting a better plea than I ever hoped for.
