James Knox is definitely one of the most caring and loyal lawyers I have ever dealt with. He would answer my calls on his personal cell phone day or night when he defended me in 2017 . He is by far one of the best defense attorneys out there , and I would highly recommend him to anyone facing a hard time !

I hired Julie and James for my fiance. He had some serious federal charges and was facing a life sentence. They were able to get my fiance a decent sentence so he will be able to get back to his family. They answered every phone call, text message and email. They were very easy to talk to and made me feel like they were working for us and didn't just want our money. I will recommend them to anyone facing criminal charges. They will get you the best results. They are the best attorneys in the capital district.

DWI charge
This was my first (and only) arrest. I received varying advice from different lawyers, but chose James based on the firm he is a partner in and his excellent, well-deserved reputation. He was incredibly patient with my endless questions and helped ease my anxiety throughout the entire ordeal. In the end, he obtained the best deal for me, one that will not ruin my entire life. Quite simply, James Craig Knox, saved lives during his tenure as our son's attorney. James attended to immediate legal issues while being mindful of how their resolution would impact our legal process further down the road. James has an attention to detail and will follow up on the questions that need answers. During our case preparation, trial and beyond, he was consistently right there for us, returning phone calls the same day. James often spent evening and weekend hours calling us to clarify legal matters when we were feeling uneasy with the case. Criminal Trail and Family Court
I highly recommend James Knox as a criminal, family law, and trial attorney. Because James is such a sought after attorney I was afraid he would't be able afford us the time to walk us thru a very complicated case. James was not only good in getting back to us but took the time to explain our options and answer all our questions in language we could understand. I was pleasantly surprised how accomplished a trial attorney James is. His ability to think on his feet was astonishing. James was given a 90 page single spaced report during our trial and given only 20 minutes to familiarize himself with it, and then to proceed. James was able to take this in stride and carry on with a line of questioning which bolstered our position and led to a positive outcome. If your looking for an attorney who will listen to your case and proceed on your behalf like your family, then James Knox is the attorney your looking for. A big thank you to James and his staff.
