Dara Martin Orlando

Two years ago, I made the poor decision to get into my car after leaving a holiday gathering . In the “holiday spirit,” I had been drinking wine, did not gauge my intake, and headed home in my car. Along the way, there was a working car accident on the road that I needed to traverse in order to ge...t home. While proceeding, I hit the rear quarter panel of a police vehicle that was on the scene. I pulled over, and was arrested after refusing a breathalyzer test and failing the standardized field sobriety test (SFSTs). After calling my wife from the Police Precinct, she immediately called the Law Office of Dara Martin-Orlando, and Ms. Orlando met me at the Suffolk County District Court in Islip, New York. She gave me hope when I needed it most, and her constant communication reminded me that, as she said, she will always “have my back.” Dara was able to help me get my license back in a timely fashion, and was also able to cut my mandated year with an Interlock Device in my car, in half. I was told that this doesn’t happen very often in the state of New York, but evidently, Dara Martin-Orlando can make it happen! Dara helped turn what began as a horrible situation and experience, into one that has enabled me to have faith and trust, that some people will truly “have my back.” For this and all that Dara has done for me and my family, I say, “Thank You From the Bottom of my Heart!”
