Michael Edward Tockman

My fiancé and I hired Mr. Tockman to handle my fiancé's divorce. He did a terrible job. We asked him to close the case asap since we wanted to get married soon. The case was very simple since there were no kids involved and both my fiancé and his ex reached an agreement.However he took for ever to fi...le the papers in Court. We then asked him to file a motion to expedite (after consulting other attorneys who recommended us such motion) since I was pregnant and we had plans to get married. He refused to do so saying that such motion was not going to help our case. Therefore we decided to fire him and to hire another lawyer. He sent us an outrageus bill with charges that were unfairly added. In addition our new attorney found out that the papers he had filed in Court were defective so she had to provide the Court with new ones and more time and money were wasted because of him. Having had Mr. Tockman as an attorney turned out to be a real nightmare!! He does not care about clients at all. He is only concerned about charging crazy amounts of money and he does a terrible job!!
