Lance Darryl Simon

A year ago I made the difficult decision to file for a divorce and met with Lance for a free consultation. I knew by the end of the meeting that I would be using him as my lawyer. Lance has the ability to make clients feel comfortable in difficult and emotional situations. Throughout the divorce pr...ocess, he listened to my concerns and quickly responded to problems as they arose. He always dealt with me directly and cared about what was happening with my children and myself. I liked his communication style and he was very responsive over email and the phone. He also set forth realistic expectations and goals. He truly cares about his clients and is attentive to their individual needs. During a very challenging time for me, he was able to come to an agreement with opposing counsel that included all of the items that were most important to me. I am happy with my choice to use him as my attorney and would recommend him if you're in need of legal assistance.

I have nothing but great things to say about Mr. Simon. I was in need of an attorney for an upcoming court case and I found Mr. Simon on AVVO. Thank Goodness I did because what I didn't know is a few days later Mr. Simon would stop me from making the biggest mistake in my case. He not only guided me ...to tell me what to do without meeting with me as of yet, but he explained to me thoroughly what I was up against without rushing or speaking fast even though he had to run to court. I found Lance searching for a new attorney online and there was something about him that simply stood out. I have had previous attorneys however, I always felt I was just another case and when I needed advice they were never reachable. I had contact with them at the consult and at court. So Very diff...erent with Lance. From initially speaking with him I knew this was more than just "a job" to him and I was more than just "a client." He was compassionate, experienced, knowledgeable, and confident. Due to the necessity of entering a petition quickly, he met me on a weekend to get additional information about my case. Due to the nature of my case, I was always nervous about going to court and even felt a little unsafe in the beginning. Lance would always text me the evening before court and make sure I was doing okay and offered words of encouragement and reassurance that he would walk in with me and it would be fine. I have never had an attorney text me in the evening to offer support and it was such a relief knowing he cared so much. He always discussed and explained everything to me and always asked how my son was doing because he truly cared about his well being through this process. At the completion of my case, I was speechless when Lance texted me that same evening to ensure my son and I were feeling good because it just confirmed my feelings all along that he truly cares about the safety and well being of us both. My divorce began in May 2016 and today it finally culminated in an agreement today. I can have a strong voice at times and I voiced my frustrations about my ex-husband. But he gave me tough love and even though I sometimes wanted to stay in my own thoughts and head, he made me see long term benefits and goals. Reminding me of the law and steering me away from my emotional attachments to events that were occurring. For that, I am grateful. He is punctual, articulate and very intelligent. He is also excellent with calculations and numbers. He is very skilled at explaining legal issues in layman's terms. Whenever I was feeling doubtful or second guessed how much longer I should fight, I kept going knowing that I had an excellent lawyer fighting right along with me. When i contacted lance my childrens visitation situation with their father was a mess, i had lost almost all faith in the justice and the legal system. Lance was dedicated and went above and beyond the call, more so than any prior attorney previously, to assist me in the legal system, and have it doc...umented, to help protect me and my children. On occasions when i was unable to make it in to the office he would meet out or come to me. I was able to contact him on weekends and late nights with quick replys of council and concern. He was dedicated to really helping me in my situation and what was best all around for the concerns of my children.. Lance was and is just absolutely fantastic.
