Before entering private practice, Dan served as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, where he gained extensive trial experience handling thousands of criminal and vehicular cases. He prosecuted serious felony matters, including murder, robbery, and DWI, and advised law enforcement agencies on investigations, search warrants, and evidence collection.

His work included assignments in the District Court Bureau, East End Bureau, Case Advisory Bureau, and the Gang Unit, where he prosecuted narcotics, firearms, and gang-related crimes.

Dan graduated from Pennsylvania State University (Smeal College of Business) in 2010 and earned his law degree from Penn State Law in 2013. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2014.
