“Robert and his staff have always went above and beyond for me throughout every step of my brutal divorce and custody process. My case is currently still open and we are in 3 court rooms. Robert is exceptionally educated, experienced, and understanding when it comes to matrimonial law. The past 2 yea...rs of my life have been the most darkest and at times unbearable because of the mistake I made in choosing the wrong partner. I truly wish I was able to give more than 5 stars because the entire office deserves much more than 5. I honestly do not know where my life would be if I chose a different attorney. I hired Robert for a custody matter last year. I regret my decision to hire him as my Attorney. When I first meet Robert I told him what I was looking for and I was on a budget. He made it seem like he's one the best Attorneys to hire and he's very good at what he does, which I now know is a lie. Alm...ost a year later l had to settle for something I did not hire him for and spend a lot more money on his legal fees that I did not plan on spending. I hired him to take my case to trail and I felt like he used our time and money to try and settle my case. I could've hired plenty of Attorneys for a lot less to settle my case. I don't think Robert nor is his firm is worth hiring as top paid Attorney only to get results you would get from a Attorney just starting out. I would not recommend or even waste my time with this firm, they are over rated and over priced, you can find many other Attorneys that would charge a lot less for the same results. I felt like our case was dragged out and I don't feel like Robert is worth it, he filed three petitions on my behalf and two were dismissed and the last one I had to settle for less then he promised. The worst part is our petition he filed was fought and won by my X's legal aid Attorney and the second petition he filed was fought by my X's Attorney and dismissed as well cause Robert and his firm did not show any change of circumstance, which he clearly told me we have and I have great chance to win and get joint custody of my kids. The other Attorney clearly found errors in the petitions Robert and his firm filed and pointed them out to the judge and they were dismissed. With that said he filed a third petition after clearly noticing his errors. Like I said for a top paid Attorney to make rookie mistakes at my expense, I don't believe him or his firm is worth hiring.

Attorney Montefusco is absolutely the best - - Period. His knowledge and will to provide the best services possible are second to none. Me being a single father, Robert has successfully fought for mine and my daughter's best interests on many occasions. Most importantly to me, Robert has given his... personal attention to every aspect of the cases we have worked on together and has never once made me feel like "just a client". Although any dealings with the Courts are an uncomfortable process for me, I always feel an insurmountable sense of confidence when Robert is by my side. As grandparents of a small child, 4 at the time, we were quite dismayed to learn about addiction issues with both parents. In our initial consultation, Robert discussed in detail the complexities of securing custody from the natural parents. He explained what was necessary, and made no promises about... success. He possesses a full understanding of how the system works and what can and cannot be accomplished. As we proceeded ahead, an additional incident occurred which opened the door to custody. He immediately took action and appeared with us in court. He convinced the boy's parents' attorneys to give up custody to us. The court awarded us custody and the child never entered the foster care system. What was most impressive, was his caring, both for the child and us, the grandparents. Today, the child is much happier, and both parents are on the way to recovery. He also appeared a second time to secure support payments from the boy's father. We will always be very grateful.

Robert proved to be a very knowledgeable, professional and meticulous attorney while handling my divorce. He made sure the custody agreement I sought after was received and his guidance through a tough time in life was unparalleled. He is open, honest and will not provide false promises.
