Biography
Robert A. Cohen, one of the founding partners of Tabat, Cohen, Blum & Yovino, LLP, has practiced matrimonial and family law in Suffolk and Nassau counties for more than 35 years. While his front page New York Law Journal trial decisions and landmark appellate cases reflect his litigation success, Mr. Cohen's focus on the psychology of settlement negotiations also achieves positive results. He was selected to the board of directors of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association and a member of the prestigious American Inns of the Court. He frequently lectures on custody, equitable distribution and support issues, as well as trial techniques.
