Kerie Stone is obviously very experienced and really understands the Disability Process. She also understood about my private disability insurance. She was interested in me as a person. She knew exactly what records to ask the doctors for. I only spoke to Kerie Stone and was not pushed around to assistants and less experienced people. I won my Social Security Disability case. I also had private disability insurance and she handled that for me also and it went very smooth. Very highly recommended.

I just found out that we won my disability hearing. Kerie Stone knew exactly what to do and she took care of everything. I've been sick for such a long time and I knew that it would be difficult to take care of my case by myself. When I saw how much work goes into it I realized that I was in very good hands. The judge had an expert testify at the hearing and Kerie knew exactly how to handle that. Kerie had worked with this judge before and I could tell that he really respects her. He told her that the brief she wrote for my case was excellent and that it would help him in his decision. Then when I got the decision I saw that the judge used a lot of informatiom that Kerie gave him. Kerie told me that I would not win overnight but she was very confident that I had a good case. She just told me that her work for me is not done because she will make sure that I get the right amount of money that SSA owes me. I would probably still be waiting for a decision if I did not hire Kerie.

She was wonderful, knew her stuff and was always honest with me. She explained what would happen in my case and she predicted everything perfectly. It was great to deal directly with the owner of the law firm.
Jonathan Teller, Social security Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
I highly endorse this lawyer. I have handled a few thousand disability claims but I only take cases which will come to hearing in the five boroughs of NY City. When a Prospective client calls from Long Island, Kerie is the one. She knows it all, truly. Because she worked for the SSA before opening her office, she knows how the system really works. She knows the things which lawyers like me, who never worked for the agency, don't know. She has given me so many useful pointers over the years and, I don't know how she does it, but she has an uncanny ability to know the right people when you need someone with special gifts in any particular area. She introduced me to people who were on the rise up through the system. She is one of the very few very good lawyers handling what we call "private disability" which means union or company plans. That is a rare skill to have. She is also a wizard in Bankruptcy, I have heard.
