The Law Office of Carl Maltese was founded in 1966 and has been at the same location in Smithtown from its inception. We are a premier Suffolk County boutique personal injury law firm. Over ninety percent of our clients are Suffolk County residents that have been injured in an accident. We are in the Riverhead courthouse almost every day representing accident victims.
We handle only personal injury and negligence cases and take pride in representing victims with injuries that some might consider minor as well as those that have suffered catastrophic injuries. If your injury has impacted your life we believe that you deserve high quality legal representation.
The firm has been representing those injured in Suffolk County and the surrounding communities for nearly 50 years. Over this time we have earned a reputation for our experience, dedication, trustworthiness, and our single-minded commitment to our clients.
We take on cases that other lawyers may not accept, either because they may be difficult cases, or because there may not be a potential “windfall” of legal fees for them. We believe that when people have been injured severely enough that some aspect of their lifestyle is affected, they deserve an attorney who will work hard in seeking to obtain the full compensation to which they are entitled. When defendants won’t pay full and fair compensation, we take them to trial and present our case to a jury. This is our job.
Our one and only office is in Smithtown and the entire firm is always available to clients by phone or in person. Unlike other firms we do not have rented conference rooms all over the state that we call “offices”. A Suffolk County accident victim deserves better representation than a lawyer in New York City that they are never able to meet with in person.
We are family firm and many of the employees have been with us for over twenty years. Since 1966 we have been dedicated to fighting for the rights of accident victims.
