Biography
Mr. Blaszcyk has lived on Long Island most of his life. After military service, he earned his B.A. from Long Island University and M.A. from the City University of New York, John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Thereafter, while employed by the State Insurance Fund, the largest workers’ compensation carrier, as a representative before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board, he attended the Jacob D. Fuchberg Law Center of Touro College.
Since graduating from law school in 1989, Mr. Blaszcyk’s practice has been limited exclusively to the representation of injured workers, volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board.
Mr. Blaszcyk is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and the New York State Injured Workers' Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Amvets, Lion’s International and the Loyal Order of Moose.
He is married and has five children and several grandchildren.
