Sometimes in life we can unfortunately come up against a moment that will impact us and our family greatly that we also have little to no control over and it is left in the hands of people we don't know in a courtroom; every parent's worst nightmare. These unknown moments leave us feeling helpless, h...opeless, and in a constant state of anxiety and fear going up against the unknown. As people unaware of the courtroom process, our rights, and especially during and after the hands of abusive and controlling relationships ridiculed and threatened with constant accusations, lies, stories, false statements, gaslighting, slander, and fear, Karyn Villar brings you strength, hope, and the ability to feel like you can breathe again. She is honest, fair, straight forward, all while still somehow making you laugh and/or smile. I have witnessed numerous attorneys quote laws inaccurately to try to persuade the court and go against Karyn and she would immediately come back with the proper quoting of the law and how it pertained or did not pertain to what they were speaking of. “Though she be but little, she is fierce.” I would, have, and will always continue to recommend her services to anyone that needs an attorney. Although I myself have not needed her anymore, I have had many friends and family who have used her to this day and have felt the same as I. As my bill was reaching the sky and I was being talked in circles it became very clear that this attorney is for someone other than her clients. Mostly she takes a man's side even it is against her client who is paying her. She gives misinformation and guides you to do things that will benefit the ...person who is ruining your life and clearly a monster before she does what is ethical and decent. I was constantly told what his rights were and what my rights were not. The part of the discussions that were my rights became blurry under her interpretation. In one minute you are given hope that justice will be done and in the next second you are being told the person lying cheating and stealing while ruining your life deserves everything. The Bar Association will not be pleased with this. Upon legal advice from someone who cares for their clients especially women and children she is giving incorrect information and withholding the law to benefit the person she should be defending you from.

I would highly recommed Karyn. She has successfully litigated several cases for me including matrimonial, custody and support. She knows the law and fights to get a just outcome. She was fearless during my hearing and did a thorough job with my testimony and cross examination. I am so thankful th...at I was referred to her 10 years ago. She is excellent!
