Michael James D'Angelo

Labor and employment attorney with substantial experience in traditional labor and management relations, including union organizing drives, NLRB representation proceedings, employer card check recognition and neutrality agreements, negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, and related court litigation.

Extensive experience in complex employment litigation matters involving a wide variety of federal common law and statutory claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, ERISA, MEPPA, OBRA and other similar federal and state statutes, as well as claims of alleged retaliation, breach of contract, and wrongful discharge in state and federal courts and before various administrative agencies. 

Additional experience representing and counseling Employee Benefit Funds in various ERISA matters including litigation of fiduciary breach, denial of benefit, withdrawal liability and contribution delinquency matters.

Admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
