Landlord tenant

Hello every one I had a land lord tenant matter in Nassau county that Mr. quail represented me in. I was trying to evict a person living in a house I bought in a foreclosure auction and I went to Mr. quail, he was very nice and help full at the first meeting but after he got his retainer everything c...hanged. At our first hearing he showed up around 12pm few hours late and he appologized and said his meeting in his office took long and he ran late so he had me sitting there for a few hours. After he got there he said he could not do anything since the person living in the house had filled for bankruptcy but he said he will go back to his office to search to see if it was a valid bankruptcy. I followed up with him and he told me I will need to hire a bankruptcy attorney which I did and the bankruptcy attorney told me the bankruptcy the tenant had filled had been dismissed and if Mr. quail had just looked it up I would not even have to go to the bankruptcy attorney or waste more than a month. Also the bancruptcy attorney told me the bancruptcy was under the tenants sons name and not even the tenant which in it self was another reason the bancruptcy was not good since the son did not even reside at that house. . When I told Mr. quail that he should have looked it up he said it is a hard thing to do also he sent me a bill and did not even honor his own words that he said he would not charge me for the court appearance that he showed up to few hours late. So if u need a good attorney he will just waste your time and money.

I'm sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction, but your account contains multiple inaccuracies. Since opening my practice in 2000, I have consistently been punctual, and I’m typically the first attorney to arrive in court. I have never been more than 30 minutes late, and on the day in question, you were mistaken about the time of the conference. I did not meet with any clients that morning, and you did not follow me back to the office as you’ve claimed. When we appeared in court, the tenant’s attorney presented a bankruptcy filing by one of the tenants, which required the court to stay the proceeding. I explained that while I do not practice bankruptcy law, you had the option to hire an attorney to file a motion to lift the stay. At your request, I referred you to a few attorneys, and you told me you would retain one of them. Contrary to what your review suggests, you did not retain bankruptcy counsel, nor did you inform me that you chose not to. You then claimed I should have been monitoring the bankruptcy status—despite not being retained for that purpose and being told another attorney was handling it. The court accepted the bankruptcy because the tenant’s son, who resided at the property, had standing to file. Despite the time and effort already expended in filing and serving the action, I refunded your full retainer without ever sending you a bill. This included all filing fees and process service costs. It is deeply disappointing that you would publish false and harmful claims about my practice after I went out of my way to refund your money—a courtesy I extended in good faith. Your review appears to shift blame for your own inaction and unwillingness to follow through with hiring the proper attorney, despite having been given every opportunity and resource to do so. As you noted, I was not formally retained for this matter, and you informed me you hired another attorney. To ensure your satisfaction, I provided a full refund, despite no legal obligation. I strive to deliver excellent service, as reflected in my many positive reviews, and I’m happy to discuss any concerns directly
