Amanda Rose Disken

Amanda's practice involves commercial and general civil litigation and appeals (State and Federal), civil asset forfeiture defense, select criminal defense, and real estate transactions. After years of working for law firms both big and small, she came to understand exactly what clients need and deserve: a lawyer who is a staunch advocate, who provides clear and straightforward advice, and who makes it a point to keep the client informed. In her own private practice, those needs are paramount.

Amanda is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

As a lifelong resident of Long Island, Amanda is proud to have her law office in Wantagh. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, magna cum laude, from Hofstra University, where she was an Honors College Associate and received departmental honors in Sociology for her thesis comparing certain sociological theories to contemporary approaches in adoption law. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center where she graduated 16th overall in her class and was an active member of both the Touro Law Review and Touro Honors Program.

In 2011, Amanda served as judicial intern for the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, Senior United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York.
