If you want a Lawyer who takes your money. disappears for months and never returns your calls. This is the guys for you!

My house was at risk of foreclosure and I found it impossible to work with my bank so I search for a lawyer to represent me. I met with Ken and was dazzled by his stories and history of saving people"s houses, getting fees removed and principle reductions approved. I met with him and his assistant a ...few time and provided them with all my information and docs. I had a court date with the bank coming up and Ken explained to me what he was going to do when he met with the bank lawyers. I was impressed so I paid him his fee believing he was going to get this done with ease. I said I'd see him at court date and left. I should have realized I made a mistake when he didn't show up to the court date, After panicking and calling the office non-stop from the court house I finally got someone on the phone who down played the whole situation and eventually sent another lawyer or a paralegal with no clue what my history was. He basically spoke with the bank's attorney and bought us more time to file a loan modification. I should have walked then but I paid already so I was stuck with him. Ken did file some paperwork and managed to delay foreclosure proceedings but was never successful at submitting an accurate Loan Mod. The office was disorganized and would ask for repeat paperwork and never submitting my docs until I hounded them to do so and when they did, the paperwork was incomplete and rejected by the bank. Ken was never in the office. They rarely answered the phone and NEVER returned phone calls or emails. The assistant I was working with quit and my modification sat for months. The bank began foreclosure again. I eventually just went to Ken's office unannounced and sat in his waiting room. He was very non-apologetic and acted as if I was upset over nothing and that he would cure everything. He gave me the same list of things he needed and the same thing happened. I sent everything and he went off the radar again for MONTHS. I went back and camped out in office again except this time the clock was ticking. It was November 2016 and the deadline date for the HAMP modification that he told me I would have easily be approved for expired on 12/31/16. As always, Ken down played any urgency and gave me the SAME list of things he needed. I gave him everything he needed a week before Thanksgivings 2016 and begged him to submit ASAP. He told me not to worry. I contacted the bank daily to see if they received the paperwork and the answer was always the same, NO. I called Ken's office every day and either got the his answering machine, no answer or his very unhelpful secretary. A week before Christmas I finally got in touch with Ken who told me he sent out my paperwork via US Mail on 12/17/16. I ask why US Mail? why FedEx or UPS that could be tracked? He had no answer. I asked him to PLEASE login to the bank's website and submit the paperwork directly. He told me there was no need for that and that they would get it. Long story short, the deadline was missed, the modification program had expired They did eventually receive the docs on 1/17/17, almost a month after Ken said he mailed it. The bank review it and told me that since the HAMP had expired I had no other options other than a repayment plan that was NOT affordable to me. Once AGAIN it was impossible to hunt Ken down, After explaining how screwed I was to his secretary finally got him to call me back. He called with zero apologies and zero urgency like always and told me not to worry, he would take care of everything, submit the docs again and get me a modification. Here is the kicker, he asked me for more money for the extra work and I nearly flipped. I asked him if he was kidding that I should pay for him missing the deadline and he said no. I was lost for word and I told him I had to think about it. I never called him back and he never called me, no surprise. This man may have cost me my house. I would suggest not using this attorney unless you want to waste thousands of $$s
