Megan Woolley

My ex and I had worked out most of the general terms of our separation agreement when I went to her. I presented her with a very rough draft simply expressing what our general terms were. She gave me back a copy with various changes, specifically, the changes where mostly adding statutory language an...d a few terms. She charged me about $7, 500 for this. My ex wife's attorney made very few changes and we signed. There were amiguities in the wording of many of the wording of several of my ex's financial responsibilities. Ambiguities that her and her attorney took advantage of and ended up not covering financially. The end result was that I gave my ex most of the assets, I took all of the debt and went bankrupt and I pay child support which was supposed to cover various additional expenses in return for what I gave up and then have had to pay for those expenses again. To say the least, I was unhappy with the service is that I received.

I was going through a separation, my ex-wife was not cooperating and I decided to file for divorce. After consulting with another attorney, I decided to use Ms. Woolley. As opposed to my first attorney, she was very attentive to my needs. I wanted to negotiate with my ex-wife, but it became clear ...my wife was not negotiating in good faith, Megan brought the matter to court. That jump-started the negotiations again and the case settled soon afterward. Although our schedules were not compatible, Megan kept me abreast with new information and was very quick to return a call. During the negotiations, Megan proved she was a far superior lawyer to my ex's lawyer.
