Many individuals who have been through the divorce process know that it is often costly. I was expecting this but always felt that with this firm money was the priority. I would find out from the courts and from the opposing attorney that certain papers were filed before I heard from Ms Rubin's office. Despite the fact that she seemed to have a good basic fund of knowledge it didnt seem that she had time to devote to my case (which could have been wrapped up with 2 or 3 hours of work). SImple filings took months and dragged on this uncontested divorce for over a year. I am froma family of lawyers who were appalled at my experience and encouraged me to seek new counsel.
