Emily Lynn Singer

Emily Lynn Singer is a Divorce and Family Law Attorney with 25 years experience. She litigates in the Supreme Courts and Family Courts of Nassau County and Suffolk Counties and resolves all matters that can be more effectively addressed out of court, without judicial intervention, in an amicable and respectful manner whenever this approach is possible.

Ms. Singer's practice includes Collaborative Law and Divorce Mediation for those seeking resolution out of Court, in a private setting, using a non-adversarial but structured approach.  She is a firm believer in resolving divorce, separation and family matters through the process of informed decision-making by the parties, whenever possible, in a safe setting that encourages cooperative and productive problem solving and the use of experts as required to effectuate agreements in which both parties mutually benefit, while minimizing damage to the children, and family bonds which is inherent in divorce litigation in the Courts.

Ms. Singer is one of a select number of attorneys with additional and extensive training in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Columbia University -Masters of Science Program, Masters Degree 2012) supplementing her Juris Doctor.
