Ms. FitzMorris graduated Hofstra Law School, with a concentration in family law, in May 2015, and was admitted to practice law in January, 2016. While in law school, she participated in Youth Advocacy Clinic, where she represented abused and neglected children in both Nassau Family Court and Federal Immigration Court. Ms. FitzMorris interned with the Petroske Riezenman and Meyers, P.C. in 2013, and returned in September, 2015, after sitting for the New York bar exam. She works exclusively on matrimonial and family law cases, and has appeared in the Family and Supreme Courts in Suffolk and Nassau County. She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.

Great Attorney Highly Recommend
Katelyn helped me with my Child Custody & Support case. She was very honest from the start when it came to advising on how the court would go about certain things. She was very professional and always kept me informed on all matters. Katelyn also would take the time to review emails I was sending on the weekend when she was off of work. She went out of her way and did not have to do so on her time off. She always returned calls & emails promptly. I felt Katelyn was very knowledgeable with court matters. I felt she was 100% looking out for my child's best interest. I would highly recommend Katelyn and would definitely hire her again if needed. She was a pleasure to work with.

It was a long drawn out divorce that didn't need to be. Katelyn did her utmost to keep me where I needed to be. Would obviously recommend her group very highly, but she stood out trying to keep my cost down while giving me the best advice. Thank you Katelyn!!!
