i HIRED DEBRA A YEAR AGO TO REPRESENT ME IN AN ORDER OF PROTECTION CASE. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC WITH HER PRESENTATION TO THE COURT. SHE CAME INTO MY CASE IN THE MIDST OF HORRIBLE ACCUSATIONS, BUT WAS ABLE TO CLEAR MY NAME OF ANY ALLEGATIONS. IT SEEMS THAT WHEN SOMEONE TRIES TO GET AN ORDER A...GAINST SOMEONE WHO FILED THE INITIAL OP, ANYONE CAN MAKE UP ANYTHING. IT'S JUST TOO BAD THAT THERE ISN'T A PUNISHMENT FOR SOMEONE WHO LIES ON OFFICIAL COURT DOCUMENTS. THANK YOU DEBRA, FOR BRINGING PEACE BACK INTO MY HOME.

Debra Berley was an absolutely horrible lawyer. If I could rate her 0 stars I would. I recently received a speeding ticket in Nassau County. I reached out to Ms. Berley after searching through all Long Island lawyers. Not only did she refuse to even meet with me to discuss the matter, but she also by...passed anything I told her I wanted to do with the case and took matters into her own hands after a countless number of emails to her. I hired her through my father's job, so it was evident she was going to be paid either way, regardless of how she handled my case. She waited until the day I was leaving the country on a volunteer trip (that she very well knew about) to let me know she went to court a few days prior and settled it without me, on terms that I did not necessarily agree with, knowing I could not do anything about it. She is a horrible, ignorant, and unsatisfactory "lawyer" and I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
