Steven Rubel

Totally disenchanted by this law firm & their laise faire attitude regarding my home purchase. I spoke with Steve once and otherwise dealt with Ashley the paralegal. I was not informed that I would be paying 3 months HOA as a Capital Contribution upon closing during the all but 20 min call I had wit...h Mr. Rubel. They never explained this while reviewing the contract with me even though I inquired about hidden fees and charges. Isn't this why we pay an attorney. Ashley the paralegal is absolutely useless, rude and informed me at 4 pm that I would need a cashiers check or money order before closing that day. Seriously??? Also be careful if your agent recommends them, they obviously have an arrangement made and it isn't to suit the buyer. The buyers attorney advised me that several calls and emails were not answered and ignored. I paid for a service that I did not receive and if I weren't so far along in the process I would've sought a new attorney. So so disappointed and disgusted. Stay far away from this firm.
