Within the first few minutes of meeting Karen, I knew I wanted her to represent me. She is a force to be reckoned with ... smart, attentive, knowledgable ... She was there for me through the entire process and I felt confident that my son and I were going to be just fine with Karen’s guidance. C...hristina Kaminsky needs to be mentioned as well. I will not forget her warmth and kind words. She is patient and knows her stuff too!! I hired Ms Svendsen in a child custody matter, pursuing residential custody of my child. It was an absolute pleasure to work Ms Svendsen, both during preliminary hearings and during the trial. She is extremely knowledgeable of the law, and was an excellent trial attorney. Her insight and quick thinki...ng during the trial was astounding to watch. As a result of this, her persistence, and her honest desire for justice for my child and myself, we won our case. Additionally, Ms Svendsen provided honest answers about what she felt would and would not be successful during all of the proceedings, which was very much appreciated. We pursued avenues that had a possibility of a favorable outcome, and did not waste time on those that were likely to be unsuccessful. I would absolutely hire Ms Svendsen again, and have done so when necessary over the last 15 years.

Karen has done a terrific job handling my divorce settlement, she was able to explain and go over in detail all the components of the complex terminology in the documents. She was also readily available and answered any follow-up questions I had regarding alimony, child support, and custody issues. I... was very impressed with her knowledge of the law and her skills at negotiation. I would highly recommend her and her law firm to anyone!

I have never left any type of reviews prior to this one. However, I felt so compelled to leave one about Karen. I was a mess and in need of a strong voice to represent me during a divorce which due to the other side looking to drag this process out was going know where. Karen stepped up took contro...l and pulled me through this. She understood and was sensative to just how important my daughters are to me. In the courtroom Karen has everyone’s respect. Karen, is not only a great attorney but is just as good of a person. Also her paralegal Christina is second to none. I was in the middle of what was actually the second go around in a custody issue over my son. My ex had abused him and been in trouble with DSS a few times. She had a high priced lawyer who went into court with emergency hearings that were literally full of lies.
