You may still be entitled to unemployment benefits even if you do gain part-time employment. I agree with the prior recommendation of file now...

I am W-2 employee of consulting company. My employer did not pay my one-week salary citing that the client did not pay them.

You can report the Employer to the Department of Labor and that usually results in the correction of the unlawful conduct (withholding your pay)....
