I had a real estate transaction regarding buying a house that had a problem obtaining a certificate of occupancy in the City Of Long Beach. I started with a different lawyer but the problem dragged on and on so I switched to Cohen out of desperation. He fixed my problem pretty fast & I was able to ...close in time so my kids could start the school year in our new home.

It was extremely difficult for us to obtain follow through from this attorney on a low-level task. Rather than do the work in a timely manner we were fed excuses and rationalizations explaining away his nonperformance. After demanding a stopping point from him, we ultimately fired this attorney... as it was easier for us to move on than it was to force him to give us an end result. The presentation of his bill shortly thereafter came without delay, the work product he provided which should have taken a matter of days took months.
