We paid her upfront $1500 for an immigration case. Once the money was taken, there was absolutely no other interaction. We tried calling, emailing etc. She would ask us to call next day at a certain time and never answer the call when we call at that particular time. And we would wait until the end o...f the day, still no response. She has absolutely no respect for client’s time and schedule. Even if there was no update on the case, we expect a decent way to get that point across. We never received any proof regarding anything that had been done on the case. We terminated our consul after 2 months. She gave back $750 and never explained to us what was done on the case. We asked for our file several times, but she doesn’t respond. Does not email back or reply to our messages. Awful experience.

I paid Zahra Cheema up front $2500 for her services and $805 filing fees for immigration work, and after just 4 months, she cut off all forms of communication. She did not reply to calls, messages, emails to her and to her firm. I have repeatedly asked her for a receipt number for my case so I can a)... verify if she submitted it and b) follow up on my own case, but after 1 year, she still has not given me the receipt number. I finally emailed her to tell her that I would make a complaint against her, and almost 1 year later, she finally replied saying "I'll send you the receipt number tomorrow" but never did. Now I have to pay all the fees all over again and submit a new application on my own. This has caused severe hardship for my family both financially and emotionally since this application would decide a major move in our lives. Save your money and save a huge headache! Go somewhere else for a lawyer.
