Strong, Effective Advocate

Sylvia Goldschmidt represented my sons and me in a contentious divorce ending a marriage that had lasted more than 20 years. My ex-husband and his attorney had refused to negotiate the major issues of maintenance and child support until the first day of the trial when the case was settled. There w...ere a number of complicated, detailed financial issues that had to be addressed, and Sylvia quickly processed the financial information and applied it effectively in the negotiations and settlement. During the process leading up to the trial, Sylvia effectively and skillfully obtained critical financial information in depositions. Sylvia also developed creative solutions to specific settlement issues that were eventually implemented. In addition to intellectual and strategic skills, the resolution of this case required patience, stamina and strength which Sylvia demonstrated throughout.
