Marc David Grossman

Marc D. Grossman is a senior partner at The Sanders Firm, Sanders Phillips Grossman and Sanders Viener Grossman located in New York, California, Washington and Puerto Rico. Providing representation to clients in New York mertro area as well nationwide, he focuses his practice on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation, with an emphasis on mass torts involving asbestos and other types of toxic exposure as well as defective drugs and medical devices. Other matters that Mr. Grossman has handled include medical malpractice, construction and motor vehicle accidents, and nursing home abuse.

Mr. Grossman pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1989. He then went on to attend Brooklyn Law School and was awarded both his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration in 1993, the latter through a joint program with Baruch College. While there, Mr. Grossman interned with the Office of Legal Affairs of the United Nations. Admitted to practice in New York, he is also admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Illinois.

Throughout his career, Mr. Grossman has successfully obtained numerous sizable settlements and jury awards on behalf of his clients, including an $8 million verdict for a victim of the osteoporosis drug Fosamax. As a result, he is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an invitation-only group that is limited to attorneys who have obtained verdicts or settlements of at least seven figures. Mr. Grossman is an active participant in other professional organizations as well, including the American Association for Justice and the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Grossman is also a former member of the board of directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
