If someone calls the cops claiming someone hit them in the street, without any proof, injury, or witnesses, what can happen?

Unfortunately, the police do not investigate and will likely make an arrest..

Attorney's can appear for you to avoid the time and expense of travel etc...
Is checking the box to request a supporting deposition on the not guilty (right side of the ticket) sufficient.

If it is a state trooper ticket with the pre-printed supporting deposition, most judges won't dismiss.

120-44 is the summons part and 125-01 is the criminal court.

It can take 2-4 weeks depending on the DA + clerk's office, especially at the end of the summer.

Passing the bar is not the issue. It's admission to the bar which goes through character and fitness. The conviction should be reviewed but not bar...
