Mine is a particularly thorny and relentlessly troublesome circumstance of joint custody.  Whilst I have come to understand there is little an attorney, judge, or anyone can do to correct someone's chosen behavior and mindset, I have found it crucially beneficial to control those aspects which can be..., and ensure that my rights as a father, and indeed those of my children, are protected.  This is where attorney selection and representation choice is key, and it is why Jennifer not only receives my wholehearted support within this review, but is why she is also a key referral to many friends and acquaintances who experience similar life circumstances and difficulties. I most certainly had sub-par attorney representation from 2015-2018, when my divorce and custody case was first being heard and then concluded within a global settlement.  However, as many reviews on this site state, my experience of emotional exhaustion and wanting to simply move on with life, is not a unique one.  Upon reflection, there were many oversights, omissions, and lack of deeper thinking by my previous attorney, which could have established a much clearer rulebook for co-parenting, than the one that transpired and that I agreed to.  Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Enter Jen.   Jen came to me as a referral from a close friend, whom she had helped with a support matter, and from the outset, her approach was so vastly different to my prior experience. I found Jen immediately grasping a clear understanding of my concerns and experiences, which was then fused with her expertise and application of her craft, making the push back against some bad, and indeed dangerous, behaviors, timely, thorough, deft and appropriate.  Jen has piloted the filing of many violations, resultantly sought (and won) modifications, along with contempt motions, which have resulted in contempt of court rulings and subsequent awards to me.  All this within what I consider to be at times a heavily biased family court system. I do not enjoy the court process and I do not enjoy the litigation process, but when you have few other options than to engage that system, then it is best to go all in, to try and achieve the best possible outcome, and hopefully some peace.  I urge anyone in this difficult situation to not treat the choice of attorney engagement casually. This process has far reaching implications, some of which you will not have thought of, particularly at a time which is often highly emotionally charged, and where clear thinking can be challenging.  Jennifer's hire will ensure you, and by default those that matter most to you, are protected to the best of her ability.

Going through a divorce is one of the most emotionally exhausting and overwhelming experiences a person can face, and I truly do not know how I would have gotten through it without Jen's guidance, preparation, and unwavering support. I always felt that my case mattered and that I was more than just another client. Because of Jen's preparation, and persistence, I walked away from one of the hardest periods of my life feeling protected, respected, and genuinely represented. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone going through a divorce or family court matter.
