James R. Langione

James R. Langione is one of the founding partners of Langione, Catterson & LoFrumento.  Mr. Langione has over twenty years experience in successfully representing clients in medical malpractice and personal injury matters.  Mr. Langione is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Federal Court - Eastern District and Federal Court- Southern District.  Unfortunately, it is a reality that people are injured everyday by the negligence of another person or entity.  Those injuries may be physical, emotional, economic, or a combination of all three.  Mr. Langione has a tremendous track record in recovering money for his clients, which may ease the financial burden of dealing with these types of traumatic injuries.   

Mr. Langione began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Sex Crimes unit of the Bronx County District Attorneys office, thereafter, he defended doctors and hospitals at Bower & Gardner before entering private practice.
He was part of the litigation team that successfully represented Richard Jewell in his defamation action against the New York Post. The case has become the paradigm for the media’s tendency to rush to judgment.
