Carlo John Sciara

Carlo Sciara is an associate at Hackett Law P.C. practicing in the firm’s litigation department. Carlo earned his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. He was the Editor in Chief of the Admiralty Law Practicum which published several of his case comments. While at SJU Law, Mr. Sciara was also a Senior Staff Member on the New York Litigator Law Journal, a publication of the New York State Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Division, and Vice President of the Joseph A. Calamari Admiralty Law Society. Carlo earned Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Charleston. He double-majored in Public Policy and History. He graduated summa cum laude in three (3) years with a 4.0 G.P.A. and received the President’s Award for Outstanding Senior of the Year (awarded to the graduating senior that most exemplifies the mission of the University, which is to “educate students for a life of productive work, enlightened living, and community involvement) He was also the Vice President for Finance of the Student Government Association and National Italian American Foundation summer research grant recipient. Carlo is admitted to practice before the New York state courts.
