Biography
As Frank Costello said in The Departed, "I don't want to be a product of my environment." So here's how I differ from most members of my profession:
- I don't think a law degree gives me any superpowers or puts me in a class above "regular mortals." I have a sense of humor and don't take myself too seriously. I solve problems, yes, but I don't claim to know everything (or think you know nothing).
- I also don't use the puffy, archaic language most lawyers embrace simply to sound important. I'm a regular person, just like you, and I act, talk, and write that way.
- I believe in easy communication, and I won't give you the impression that your questions are a nuisance. Reach me in a way that works best for you, and I'll respond right away.
- I'm not on a mission to rip you off and justify it by things like, "Yeah, but I had to pay for three years of law school, you have to factor that in." That's why my rates are significantly lower than the New York market average.
In other words, if you're all about cutting the crap and getting to work, I'm your guy.
