Oversites made in closing of Estate

Beth came highly reccommended to me and we worked together for a couple of years without any discrepancies. In the end my commission fee was overlooked and never paid to me. My last trip to the bank when closing the bank account finally, i followed Beths articulate and written instructions along with... the banker. After i closed the account, i asked about my commission and Beth resent a copy of her final instructions which included writing one of the last four checks to me for commission. there were no such instructions as the banker went through them with me. How could both myself and the banker overlook this? I think Beth had not sent those papers to me and the Estate was closed without my receiving payment. I had not been aware. I called Beth and asked about the commission, she sent a harsh letter to me saying she did not believe me and since will not give me a comprehensive explanation of how this could happen. I would think that beth would have followed up with me as she always had regarding where the cancelled check was for her final tallies. On my part it was not caught as i was so wrapped up in details and very careful in following her written instuctions. In the two years we worked together Beth was patient with me regarding details and i just cant figure why she never mentioned my commission check coming back after the estate was closed? I had been unaware at the time that the oversite was made by Beth. I never wrote a check to myself. Beth had always written the checks and all I did was sign them. When no account of my commission check came back as cashed, she never asked. When i finally realized what happened i asked for her help. She cut communication with me blaming me for not keeping copies of the papers to show what was done at the closong. Im not putting blame but terribly upset over the fact she would not help me to resolve. She asked me to get final bank statements of this acct and there was zero balance

It is unfortunate that the former client who wrote this review failed to disclose that she refused to follow simple, written instructions for her work as a fiduciary in an estate. This is more unfortunate considering the advocacy I performed to have this former client executor commission paid to her even after she was unable to balance an estate account and overpaid a creditor. My clients receive the highest quality service and advocacy.
